This is a disturbing report! An employee at an Alice, Texas nursing home reported to police that a 64-year-old male resident was seen sexually assaulting a 65-year-old female resident. This is bad but what really gets me is that, according to police, the male patient is a registered sex offender with a mental condition!

Why did the nursing home admit a registered sex offender in the first place? Nursing homes should provide a safe and caring environment for all residents. Ask the Administrator or Director of Nursing at your loved one's nursing home if it has a policy against admitting sexual predators.
