WhoCanISue.Com - Disgusting!

I am a trial lawyer and damn proud of it! My firm's work helps individuals going through difficult times...the death of a father due to medical neglect....the abuse and neglect of of 90 year old nursing home resident...the effects of an unfair and oppressive non-compete agreement which prevents a mother from working in her chosen field and supporting her family.

My firm doesn't file frivolous lawsuits...never has and never will.

Now I read in Time magazine about a Florida Internet business, "WhoCanISue.Com." The new website plans to help individuals find an attorney from a list of lawyers who advertise their expertise on the website. The attorneys will pay an annual fee of $1,000 to appear on the site, plus an additional amount of their own choosing that will determine how prominently they appear in the listings on the site.

My take to those who use this service: You Get What You Pay For...and maybe You Get What You Deserve!

Thanks for your post ... though, obviously, WhoCanISue.com does not share your point of view!

As further info toward you and your readers’ understanding of WhoCanISue.com, I thought it might be helpful to provide links to a backgrounder on the company and how the service works, as well as the bio of founder & CEO Curtis Wolfe.

Michael,

Since you appear to be involved in the marketing of whocanisue.com, let me ask you something:

If WhoCanISue? claims to be a legitimate company, offering real services to attorneys and consumers alike, why have a picture of a businessman slipping on a banana peel on the home page of the website?

This image only perpetuates the negative stereotypes of attorneys (WCIS? supposed clients) in the eyes of consumers (WCIS? supposed visitors).
