The Krasnow Law Firm of Roanoke, Virginia is reporting the largest retaliatory termination award in Virginia. The jury in the matter of Pamela L. DePaoli v. Vacation Sales Associates, LLC; Vacation Sales, Inc.; and Atrium Corporation returned this astounding verdict after only eighteen minutes of deliberation. The figures awarded to the Plaintiff in this matter are $5M for punitive damages, $2.5M for compensatory damages, $200K for back pay and figures still to be calculated by the court for front pay and attorney's fees.

In July 2003 the plaintiff, Pamela L. DePaoli, a sales manager for the Respondent was wrongfully terminated after complaining to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) of a repetitive series of discriminatory
practices by her employer.
