Hospitals Spying on Doctors

Just had to share this CBS News Report with you. It appears that some hospitals are hiring "fake patients" to arrive at the hospital with various complaints to grade how the hospital staff handles the "patient's" made-up symptoms and complaints. Theethics council of the American Medical Association is pressing the doctors group to endorse the practice....and the doctors are upset!

Dr. Richard Frederick, of the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria, called it "official deceit" that could have disastrous consequences.

This reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where Kramer and his midget friend take acting jobs at a local medical school and fight over who gets to play the patient with gonorrhea!

Sometimes life is stranger than fiction
