Birth Control Patch - Scary?

This week a consumer advocacy group petitioned Washington to take birth control patch off the market. Why? Studies show that users have an increased chance of blood clots. a 60% higher chance. Although the FDA has updated the warnings on the box, little else has been done.

So doctors took to the halls of Congress to bring attention to the issue.

It is a good idea to petition the government when studies reflect medication side effects outweight benefits. Afterall, hard for your Senator and the FDA to say they had no idea when it is too late!
