Two Injured In Roanoke Co. Car Accident

A deer in the road recently caused a car accident on I-81 in Roanoke County. According to WDBJ, two women in a northbound car hit the deer and stopped on the side of the road to inspect the car for damages. While stopped, a Chevy Suburban driven by a Raleigh, NC man crashed into the women's car. Both ladies were injured and taken to the hospital.

Animals in roads cause many accidents every year, especially at night in the fall and winter months. It is important to always be aware of your suroundings while driving.
